Is there anyway to use it in colors like red and blue?

You can color the output if you want, but it doesn't include colors by default.

Use https://www.npmjs.com/package/kleur around it

I actually used colorette, but it works the same :

console.log(yellow((figlet.textSync("Text to be colored", { font: "Small"}))));

which renders :
